Case Study – Berts 50th birthday bash

With a gorgeous location at the Surrey countryside, with the Individual we decided to keep everything very English and traditional. We set about looking at ways to keep the outside and marquee in keeping with the house and garden using lots of wild flowers and creating a very rustic feeling. We also continued this through the menu and with the drinks as always using Meantime London Lager, City of London Distillery Gin, Chase Vodka and polishing it off with Gribble Bridge English Sparkling Wine.

As the night went on and the band started the real draw for guests was the stunning cocktail bar with guests able to pick their fruit and for the barmen to create their own flavoured mojitos, Orange and Ginger was our favourite.

Steak and chips – skewers of char grilled beef fillet with big chips and béarnaise sauce

Roasted lamb rump, minted new potatoes, braised leeks and a rosemary gravy

Pan fried sea bass, on sweet potato mash, creamed spinach

Seared Scallops, minted pea puree, new potato, crispy bacon and a rich port glaze

The party went incredibly well and we have had so many compliments about the catering. Your guys did a really amazing job – all the food was absolutely delicious, the cocktail bar worked brilliantly and the waiting staff were so professional. We couldn’t have asked for anything more so please do pass on our thanks to all the staff involved.
