Case Study – Armed Forces Day

Right next to the Imperial War Museum in Geraldine Mary Harmsworth Park was a celebration for Armed Forces day with a 1,000 hungry and thirsty service men and women! Lucky PenniBlack were there was the chorus of the day!

Lucky PenniBlack were there was the chorus of the day! Serving some truly sumptuous finger food and salads on a number of buffets to ensure no one had to wait and guests had plenty of food to fill them up from Spring lamb, harrisa and mizuna filled baby focaccia buns to Chargrilled chicken, leek, oyster mushroom and porcini oil quiche there was something for everyone!

The meantime London Lager and City of London Distillery Gin went down far too easily and was flowing like the Thames.

A fitting celebration for a tremendous cause!

Right from the start the service provided by PenniBlack has been faultless. We quickly received a proposal and despite making changes nothing was ever a problem. We were provided with a couple of ideas and menus were created around the budget we had for the event.

Everything ran without a problem on site, Ed remained calm throughout the process and with Ned overseeing the bars they were fully in control and ready for the influx of guests. The buffets were laid out to look incredible and food not only looked good but tasted amazing! The staff were full of smiles and eager to help as needed.

Whatever the event I would have no reservations recommending Ed and the PenniBlack team and look forward to working with them again in the future.
