Client: Polly & Ralph
Venue: Marquee Wedding in Suffolk
Guests: 170
The menu was designed around the Caribbean theme because they had travelled extensively in that region and they are real foodies so wanted something different from the normal barbeques. Because it was based in the country and it was summer they decided to do a barbeque which incorporated the ‘fairground’ theme with the fairground games.

Client: Saurabh & Kiran
Venue: Headstone Manor, London
Sarabh and Kiran returned from India where they had their traditional Indian wedding celebrations wanting something traditionally English. What’s more English than a pie! Our head chef made the British classic into a plate of beauty (photo on the right). The exquisite barn had hundreds of twinkly lights hanging from the bare wood of the celling to match the tea lights on every table. The couple choose to have long ‘banqueting’ style dinning, with a huge 8 tire cake on display in middle.

Client: Phil & Emma
Venue: Parkstead House, London
Guests: 110
Foodies Emma and Phil wanted to make their Parkstead House wedding personal by designing their own menu and getting the Penni Black team to reproduce it for their guests. Phil worked in hospitality catering and so had felt very strongly about not serving his guests the usual banqueting fare at their wedding.

Client: Laura & Max
Venue: The House of St Barnabas, Soho, London
Guests: 96
Laura and Max wanted simple but delicious food to be served in the opulent Georgian House. Following a tasting they decided on our yummy Thai food, we mirrored this theme in the presentation of our canapés by using simple bamboo platters and the same type of flowers that Laura had chosen for her table decoration.

Client: Elsa & Tom
Venue: Grove House, Roehampton
Guests: 110
Elsa and Tom wanted to keep both sides of their cultured families happy so we created a menu that would satisfy everyone’s tastes buds. The canapés were presented on mirrors decorated with deep red grand prix roses which complimented the brides bouquet and the centrepieces. Each guests was given a red envelope as a place card filled with treats.

Client: Caroline & Nicky
Venue: Porchester Hall, London
Guests: 210
The initial brief from Caroline, Nicky and their families was that there was to be lots and lots of very good food and that it had to be served to within a packed schedule which included dancing and speeches before during and after the meal. Through tastings and detailed planning from all parties involved the schedule was literally kept to the minute.
