50th Birthday Garden Festival – Saturday 29th June 2019 – 60 guests
PenniBlack were asked to create a ‘festival street food style garden party’ for a clients 50th birthday. They also requested a vibrant colourful botanical theme, considering their garden was filled with bright wild flowers and plants.
We organized a stunning stretch marquee which incorporated the garden, and it had colourful lighting to add to the effects. We also hired in a rustic barrel bar filled with homemade herby syrups and tonics.
The client started with Mediteranean style canapes, served on slate and teracotta. Then for the street food they opted for a vibrant Moroccan stand with hearty tagines on one side of the garden, and a sophisticated black red and white Japanese station, filled with handmade sushi, tempura and katsu curry. To finish the client wanted a choose your toppings churros stand.
