Selected guests were invited to preview the latest car in the fine Lexus range, at not just one showroom but three in and around London.
The new Lexus is dubbed “The world’s first luxury compact hybrid” and the advertising campaign features the beautiful Kylie Minogue. Penni Black had the task of creating exciting and imaginative food to match with sushi demonstrations and Japanese inspired canapés.
The sushi demonstration bars were sparkling with crushed ice highlighted by blue lights to match the Lexus corporate colours and the Penni Black team provided the perfect ingredients with a select range of canapés to tempt the buyers, washed down with Asahi beer and bubbles.
A long day for the Penni Black Team but the plan came together and we loved it!
- Tiny Tartlets of chicken, Roquefort and apple
- Lamb kofta skewers served in a shot glass with a pea, mint and coriander dip
- Filo tartlet with quails eggs, smoked salmon and crème fraiche

- Butternut squash and sweet potato risotto cake with smoked paprika cream
- Caramelised onion and goats cheese tarts

- Salmon and crab beignet served with sweet and sour tomato sauce
- Curry butter chicken on a mini poppadum
- Caramelised red onion and Goats cheese puff tart garnished with micro basil
- Cumquat brulee with a peanut caramel crunch
- Layered white and dark chocolate mousse shots
- Salmon, seabass and tuna sashimi
- Cucumber and avocado seaweed rolls
- Served with soy sauce, pickled ginger and wasabi
